If you love steep and deep the Kôna is for you! Getting its name from its predecessor the Aloha, Kôna is also the Cree/Algonquin word for snow and Japanese word for powder.
This board was developed by Donek Ambassadors Jordan Michon and Mellen Jay (CASI Level 4 Instructor/Evaluator) to be the surfy quiver killer that can do it all.

The Kôna is a tapered directional powder style shape, with an upgraded “Secret Construction” core, rubber dampening layer and a very long effective edge for its overall length. Coming stock with a 7-10 meter variable sidecut radius and 7.5 out of 10 stiffness rating this board is super responsive and rewards proper technique. The Kôna provides next level grip on ice and variable conditions, floats like a dream in deep powder and feels playful enough for ground tricks and switch riding.

This model comes stock with the Secret Construction core for those who want the maximum benefits for deep and steep carving but can also be ordered with standard core construction and a rubber dampening layer for a more forgiving freeride experience. The long effective edge of the Kôna means you can size down 3-5cm from your current snowboard for a more playful ride or to feel it’s full carving potential keep it full sized for maximum grip on the steeps and variable conditions.
