Whether you are hitting the terrain park or halfpipe there are two major snowboard factors; board profile and speed. We only use a cambered profile and a mid-flex pattern to provide the best responsiveness and stability from take off to landing. The longer sidecut means you can load an edge without steering off target. The Transition has a similar construction to the Saber, with a reduced tip and tail and an increased running length which results in a reduced swing weight and the ability to hold a downhill line. We have also incorporated the Saber’s dampening system to reduce chatter and vibration through the feet.
Speed? You got it. We’ve used the best race grade material and keep dye cuts to a minimum for the fastest ride from lip to lip or jump to jump. The base can easily be manipulated to suit any changing snow conditions on course and always comes flat right from the factory.
This board is meant for advanced riders. Riders should know how to properly pressure and manipulate the board to make it carve and perform. The lengths also run deceivingly short due to the running length. We suggest reducing the board length by 2-3 cm from your regular park board size for a more familiar feel.
